Let us get into the main topic of the post.To root your Smartphone, the main thing that you need is a tool or a software in simple. There are many similar methods.I ll show you any two of them. The two methods are

  1. Using Unlock Root
  2. Using ERoot

Requirements

  1. Unlock Root
  2. ERoot
  3. Android SDK for ADB
  4. USB drivers of the Smartphone/MediaTek MT6589 chipset

Method 1 : Using Unlock Root

  1. Download the Android SDK and install it in the root directory i.e C:\Android\
  2. Download the Unlock Root archive from above and extract it in a folder.
  3. Connect your Smartphone to the computer and enable USB debugging. Once your Smartphone is detected, locate to your Unlock Root folder and open the Unlock Root.exe (application). If you get any error,go to their official website.Download the Setup application and install it on your computer.
  4. The window appears on the screen. There will be two options : Root and Unroot. As we are going to root our phone for now, click on the big green button. Soon your Xolo Q2000 will be detected. If not, install the Android SDK properly. Click on the phone model number as it asks you to.
  5. Soon your phone will be rooted. It will take about 2 minutes. Make sure the USB cable is attached tightly and properly. The SuperUser application can be found under the App drawer. Thats it ! You have successfully rooted your Xolo Q2000 !

Method 2 : Using ERoot

This method is a lot similar to the above method. Just the tool used, is different.Install Android SDK on your computer.Connect your phone to the computer using the USB cable and enable USB  debugging.Download ERoot from above.

  1. Open the downloaded application. The window will appear. The model number of your smartphone will be specified in the top-right corner of the application. If not,the root button will not be visible.
  2. Click the Green Root button.Wait for some time.Soon the device will be rebooted.Thats it !

Anyone of these methods can be used.If one fails for you,try the another one.If you have any questions, leave them in the comment section.

Nice article ..! Is there any way I can swap partition which is allocated as internal storage(0.99gb) and sd card(5.something gb) from total 8 gb of phone storage provided. As I can’t install apps on this or external storage.
